Working With What I’ve Got

I have always said that the little things – truly are – the big things.

Today I decided to switch some rooms around in the house and feel some different energy.

I love to shake it up a bit to see what shakes out.

I moved my office and our bedroom around.

I was feeling a little stuck and I couldn’t quite figure out what would break that feeling.

All it took was a little rearranging.

Nothing new.

Just working with what I’ve got.

And just like that- it lifted.

Every time I rearrange something in my life, I also notice what is here.

And what needs to go.

It feels so good to cleanse the space.

To let go of what is no longer serving me.

To reorganize and prioritize what is.

It’s a beautiful way of allowing myself to see things from a different point of view.

To see who I am in this new space.

Sometimes, when we feel like we need something new, it doesn’t mean we have to abandon everything we’ve ever known to become someone else.

Sometimes, all we need is a little movement.

An opportunity to see our surroundings and ourselves in a new way.

Reflection Questions

  • What is something small you can shake up in your own life?
  • What would feel good about this change?
  • What is keeping you from acting on it?
