The Pattern Isn’t the Problem.
Everything felt different.
I was truly allowing myself to lean into this new understanding.
Awareness is the starting point.
Seeing the pattern didn’t change my life.
Responding differently to it did.
That changed the way I saw everything.
And when the way I saw things changed… everything else started changing too.
The more I leaned into the understanding that awareness gave me the opportunity, the more I realized that my response was what created the change.
It made room for more love.
More freedom.
More flow.
It made room for everything that I was craving.
But before it felt like this, it was uncomfortable.
I didn’t really expect that.
I kind of felt like I was pretending a bit.
Mimicking someone, or something…
I didn’t quite know.
But it felt kind of right too.
And I wanted to follow that.
It felt similar to being new somewhere.
I’d had plenty of experience with that, and I knew that it wouldn’t feel like this forever.
I saw it as an opportunity.
My response would change my reality.
I was aware that I was uncomfortable.
I could feel it in my body
In my thoughts
In my breath
I understood the what.
I understood the why.
But I wasn’t applying either one of them.
I knew how to bring myself back.
I knew the questions to ask.
I knew what helped me.
And yet…
I kept finding myself waiting.
Waiting for what?
I didn’t know.
Was this just fear outweighing motivation?
Or was this Alchemy working with time?
Awareness has become one of my favorite adventures.
It starts with one realization.
Then another.
Then another.
Suddenly you’re seeing connections you couldn’t see before.
That’s the beautiful part.
The hard part…
Is responding differently once you can see it.
The obvious problem isn’t usually the problem.
Once I was aware of the cracks in my perspective- I could start to open my mind.
I don’t think awareness changes us.
I think awareness gives us the opportunity to change.
I’ve been building something around this idea for years. Testing ideas, and seeing what actually changed my life.
It has completely changed the way that I move through and see my own life.
I’ll be sharing more on this soon.
But for now-
I’d love to know:
- What stood out to you most?
- What is your relationship like with awareness right now?
- What’s one pattern you’ve become aware of lately?
- What might responding differently look like?
I genuinely want to know.
And remember, Nothing that is meant for you will miss you.
-Be here, now.
-Bree
