Mantra: “There is no such thing as an impossible dream!”
I know that’s right!
Day 18 and the fog that took over my brain the last few days, has lifted.
I slept so deeply.
My morning meditation was LIT.
My movement flow was melty AF.
The whole time I was going through it – I treated it as a place to learn and I sure learned a lot.
I feel so much more clarity.
Impatience with the journey has run deep within me for a lifetime.
Learning to find my way to peace has also taught me patience, where I have it as well as where I need more.
Knowing is where all the power is. Being able to look objectively at myself has opened my entire world.
In the hard times, I used to try to think my way through them. My mind spiraled at ideas of what I thought I needed, where I needed to look- moves I needed to make.
But the truth is, I didn’t need action in those moments.
I needed to sit and breathe.
I needed to calm the storm that was brewing within.
Until I allowed the chaos to settle, I would be looking for the wrong external resources.
Everything that I need is within.
I can’t hear what’s within over the noise of the internal chaos and – a lot of the time- I wasn’t recognizing that it was chaos.
I was reading it as a sign that I wasn’t doing enough.
I have learned one of the most powerful tools here.
If I am thinking that I am not enough, I am in a place of punishing myself – not a place of building myself.
I used those emotions in the past to beat myself into action, but after years of that- I started skipping the action all together and went straight to the burn out.
It left me exhausted and blind to everything I have accomplished – both big and small. It left me feeling empty instead of fulfilled.
It left me feeling like I was falling short when I wasn’t.
That isn’t a place to get ahead. That’s a place to miss it all.
Now that I am even more aware of the patterns that I took to get here, I can reroute them. I will see them more often and more quickly when I am starting to slide back into this old way of thinking. That allows me to kick those thoughts and feelings back into gratitude where I belong.
Gratitude leads me everywhere I want.
Gratitude keeps me moving.
Gratitude is the deepest alignment with my soul.
It is my way home.
Always.
Dream big. Go for it all.
